ABOUT CHLOE

Training should help you enjoy life — not take it over.

I’m Chloe, founder and head coach at The Stable Studio. I believe getting stronger should make everyday life feel easier, give you more confidence in what your body can do and help you keep doing the things you enjoy.

WHY I CREATED THE STABLE STUDIO

Fitness should fit around your life.

I don’t train just for the sake of training. I train so I can enjoy life.

That might mean feeling strong enough for a full day on the slopes, having the energy to keep up with my daughter, or simply moving well and feeling capable day to day.

I wanted to create a place where other people could train with that same purpose — without feeling like fitness has to become their whole identity.

STRENGTH FOR LIFE

For me, fitness has always been about what it lets me do.

Waterskiing has been part of my life for years. Skiing is now a big part of our family time too, and staying fit enough to keep up with my daughter on the slopes matters to me.

The activity isn’t really the point. Being physically able to keep doing it is.

WHO IT’S FOR

You don’t need to already be fit.

The Stable Studio is for people who want to feel stronger, move better and have more confidence in what they can do — whether that means keeping up with children or grandchildren, walking the dog, gardening, travelling, playing sport or simply making everyday life feel easier.

You don’t need to love gyms. You don’t need to know what every piece of equipment does. You just need to be willing to start.

EXPERIENCE

A practical approach to strength and movement.

Alongside my degree in Physical Education, I spent eight years working in a role that involved regular manual handling. For the final three and a half years, I also delivered manual-handling training to colleagues. Doing the work as well as teaching it gave me a practical appreciation of movement, technique and how much being physically capable matters in everyday life.

That experience shaped how I think about training: technique matters, confidence matters, and strength should always have a practical purpose.

Now, as founder and head coach of The Stable Studio, I’m bringing that approach into a smaller, more personal setting.

MY APPROACH

Good coaching should make you more confident, not more dependent.

THE IDEA BECAME THE STABLE STUDIO

A smaller studio with a more personal feel.

The converted stable at Lodge Farm gave me the chance to create the kind of training environment I wanted from the start: calm, welcoming and focused on coaching rather than crowds.

The Stable Studio is intentionally different from a large commercial gym. It’s a place where people can feel comfortable, get the support they need and build confidence over time.
