Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to recurring memberships and coached-session purchases provided by Lodge Farm Contracting Limited, trading as The Stable Studio at Lodge Farm (“The Studio”, “we”, “us” and “our”). The membership or pack description, price, inclusions, start date, billing information and validity period shown when you purchase form part of your contract with us.

1. Who we are

2. Buying from us

Before you buy, the relevant checkout will show the service or membership you are purchasing, the price including VAT, the applicable start date, payment frequency, minimum commitment where relevant and any product-specific inclusions or restrictions.

When your purchase is accepted, you will receive confirmation in the app and/or by email. Please keep that confirmation together with these terms for your records.

Memberships, packs and bookings are personal to the named customer and may not be transferred, shared or resold unless we expressly agree otherwise.

3. Recurring memberships: start, payments and minimum commitment

Your membership starts on the date shown when you purchase. Your first payment and recurring monthly billing date will be shown at checkout.

Recurring memberships have an initial minimum commitment of three billing cycles. Unless a statutory cancellation right or an exceptional arrangement under section 11 applies, the payments covering those three billing cycles remain due.

After the minimum commitment, the membership continues on a monthly rolling basis until cancelled.

If a payment fails or becomes overdue, we may suspend access while the account remains unpaid. Cancelling a Direct Debit or other payment instruction does not by itself cancel your membership.

4. Your 14-day cancellation right

If you buy a membership or pack online, or another statutory cancellation right applies, you may cancel within 14 days beginning on the day after the contract is entered into, without giving a reason.

To cancel, email hello@stablestudiolodgefarm.co.uk or send another clear statement telling us that you wish to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to.

If your service is due to start during the 14-day cancellation period, we will only begin supplying it during that period where you have expressly requested that we do so.

If you expressly request an early start and then cancel during the 14-day period after we have begun providing the service, we may deduct a reasonable proportion of the price for the service supplied up to the time you cancel. Any balance due back to you will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Your statutory cancellation rights are separate from the standard membership cancellation rules below.

5. Cancelling a recurring membership after the cooling-off period

You may give notice to cancel at any time by using the cancellation option in the app where available or by emailing hello@stablestudiolodgefarm.co.uk.

Recurring memberships require a minimum of 30 days’ notice to cancel, subject to the initial three-billing-cycle minimum commitment.

If you give notice during the initial minimum commitment, your membership cannot end before that commitment has been completed unless we agree an earlier end under section 11 or the law gives you another right to cancel sooner.

Our membership system calculates the cancellation date by adding the 30-day notice period to the date you cancel. If a scheduled monthly billing date falls within that notice period, that payment will still be collected in full and your membership will remain active until the end of the resulting paid billing period. The app will show the effective membership end date when you cancel through your account.

Your membership access and benefits continue until the effective cancellation date. Payments properly due or already paid for a completed or current billing period are normally non-refundable simply because you did not use the available membership benefits. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We will confirm the effective cancellation date after receiving your notice.

6. Membership access, induction and bookings

Required health information, forms, waivers and the Studio induction must be completed before regular training access is granted.

Independent Training is available only after The Studio confirms that the required induction and safety steps have been completed.

All visits must be booked through The Stable Studio app and remain subject to opening hours, timetable availability, capacity, your membership entitlements, induction status and safety requirements.

Bookings normally open seven days before a session. Overlapping bookings are not permitted.

Bookings must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the session begins. A late cancellation or no-show will consume the relevant included membership use or paid session/pack credit. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a warning and proportionate booking restrictions.

If The Studio cancels a booked session, any included use or paid credit deducted for that booking will be restored.

7. Independent membership

Independent membership includes booked Independent Training, access to the Studio’s structured training programme, individual exercise, load and progression adaptations where appropriate, and a Training Check-In approximately every 12 weeks.

There is no overall weekly usage allowance for Independent Training, but every visit must still be booked and is subject to availability.

Coached sessions are not included within the recurring Independent membership allowance. Eligible Independent members may purchase coached-session options separately where available.

8. Progress membership

Progress membership includes booked Independent Training, up to three coached small-group sessions per week, attendance accountability, access to the Studio’s structured training programme, individual exercise, load and progression adaptations where appropriate, and a Training Check-In approximately every 6 weeks.

Unused included coached sessions do not roll over, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Eligible Progress members may purchase additional coached sessions beyond the included weekly allowance where available.

9. Coached-session packs and one-off coached-session purchases

A coached-session pack or single-session purchase is a one-off purchase and does not renew automatically. The number of credits, price and validity period shown at purchase form part of the contract.

Unless the product description says otherwise, coached-session purchases are available only to customers holding an eligible active recurring membership and may only be used while an eligible membership remains active.

Each credit may be used for one eligible coached session shown in the app at the time of booking. Credits cannot be used for Independent Training, induction or another service unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

Unused credits expire at the end of the validity period shown at purchase and do not roll over. Credits are personal, non-transferable and have no cash value.

The 24-hour booking cancellation rule in section 6 applies. If The Studio cancels a session, the credit will be returned. If our cancellation prevents a returned credit from reasonably being used before expiry, we will provide an appropriate extension.

The 14-day cancellation right in section 4 applies where the pack or session is bought online or another statutory cancellation right applies. If you expressly request that the service starts during that period and use credits before cancelling, any refund may be reduced by the proportionate value of the service used.

After the statutory cancellation period, coached-session purchases are normally non-refundable unless your statutory rights apply or we agree another arrangement under section 11.

10. Membership changes, household discount and Founding status

You may request to change to another available recurring membership.

Where an upgrade is available, it may take effect immediately with any appropriate prorated payment adjustment. A downgrade will normally take effect at the end of the applicable paid billing period and, during the initial minimum commitment, cannot take effect before that commitment has been completed unless we agree otherwise.

An approved household discount is available where at least two people living at the same address each hold an eligible active core recurring membership. The discount is 10% off the second or lower-priced eligible core recurring membership. It does not apply to coached-session packs, single coached-session purchases or other one-off purchases unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

If the household no longer has two eligible active memberships, the remaining membership will return to its normal undiscounted price from the next billing date after the change is processed.

Where a membership name includes “Founding”, Founding status continues only while the member maintains continuous eligible membership. Cancelling a Founding membership forfeits Founding status. A former Founding member who later rejoins will normally join at the membership and price available at that time.

Founding membership does not mean that the price is permanently fixed. Any future price change remains subject to section 12.

11. Medical pauses and exceptional circumstances

If a significant illness, injury, pregnancy-related condition or another medical circumstance prevents participation, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

A medical membership pause may require a doctor’s note or equivalent medical evidence reasonably acceptable to The Studio.

Where appropriate, we may agree to pause the membership, extend the validity of unused coached-session credits or, in exceptional circumstances, end a membership early. Any effect on payments, access, the minimum commitment or the membership end date will be confirmed in writing.

Exceptional requests will be considered fairly based on the evidence and individual circumstances. This section does not reduce any statutory rights.

12. Changes to prices, terms and the timetable

We may change a recurring membership price after the initial minimum commitment where reasonably necessary to reflect factors such as changes in operating costs, taxes, regulatory requirements or the scope or cost of the service being provided.

Any price increase will be reasonable and proportionate to the relevant change. We will give at least 30 days’ written notice before a higher price is charged. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the increase takes effect and the increased price will not be charged.

We may also make reasonable changes to these terms where needed for legal, regulatory, safety, security or operational reasons, or to reflect a genuine change to the service. We will give reasonable notice of a material change. If a material contractual change significantly disadvantages you, you may contact us before it takes effect to cancel without being required to accept the changed term.

The timetable, coaches, training availability and session times may change according to demand, availability, holidays, maintenance, safety or other operational requirements. Membership does not guarantee that any particular session, Independent Training time or timetable slot will remain permanently available.

13. Conduct and safety

Members and customers must follow reasonable coaching instructions, induction requirements, booking rules, safety notices and emergency procedures.

We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, unsafe or abusive behaviour, misuse of equipment, unauthorised access, non-payment or conduct that places another person or the business at risk.

Where appropriate, we will give a warning and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue before taking further action. Any action we take will be proportionate to the circumstances and will not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Liability and personal belongings

Participation is subject to the Participation & Risk Acknowledgement completed online.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

You remain responsible for your personal belongings while attending. We are not responsible for loss or damage except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.

16. Complaints, contact and governing law

If you have a question, complaint or cancellation request, please contact:

hello@stablestudiolodgefarm.co.uk

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections and rights available to you under the law applying where you live.

17. Model cancellation form

You may copy and send the wording below if you wish to cancel during a statutory cancellation period. Use of this form is optional.
